Topics:

Scientific program will consist of plenary sessions and lectures on following topics:

 

 

Session 1:

Nondestructive Testing in Technical Praxis.
Fluctuation processes in solids, noise diagnostics, acoustic and electromagnetic emission, nonlinear transport phenomena.

Session 2:

Processes in Nonequilibrium Nonlinear Systems.
Nonequilibrium thermodynamics, selforganization, entropy and information, fractals, predictivity, synergetics.

Session 3:

Plasma Physics.
Plasma modelling and plasma stability. Transport, electromagnetic, optical and thermodynamic properties of plasma. Plasma diagnostics. Nonlinear phenomena in plasma. High temperature plasma and fussion.

Session 4:

Optoelectronics and Nanotechnology.

Session 5:

Physics Education.
Computer-based learning in physics. Physics and internet learning. Physics in new study programs at Technical Universities. Possibilities and prospects of the Physics distance education.

Conference languages:
Czech, Slovak, English.

Conference proceedings:
Accepted conference contributions in English (Czech, Slovak as well) will be published in proceedings available at the beginning of the conference. The payment of the registration fee is necessary for the paper to be included in the Proceedings book.

Abstracts:
Abstracts will be available on the conference website.

November 15, 2001

Registration fee:
The registration fee 150 DEM (PhD students 100 DEM) covers the expenses for conference organisation, the conference proceedings and refreshments.

The preregistration form together with abstract should be sent to the contact address of the organizing committee no later than May 10, 2001

Abstract:
Authors are requested to submit an abstract up to 200 words in MSWord format by e-mail: brustla@feec.vutbr.cz   in the papers language. If the paper is submitted in Czech/Slovak, the abstract must be submitted in English, too. The acceptance of the paper will be confirmed immediately.
